For the year that ended December 31, 2018, Global Growers Network, Inc. operated the following programs: (i)Community DevelopmentGlobal Growers Network, Inc. operates a network of community gardens that prioritize serving experienced growers who came to Georgia as refugees and immigrants. By connecting families to land, resources, and markets, GG creates opportunities for growers to reconnect to their agricultural heritage. Collaborative farm sites come with collective power and build on a tradition of cooperative agriculture systems. This approach makes healthy produce abundant and accessible throughout metro-Atlanta, particularly in food insecure neighborhoods. Farmers have the opportunity to participate in GGs Sales & Marketing program and access to GGs Education & Outreach programs. (iii)Sales & Marketing Global Growers Network, Inc. provides aggregation and distribution services that facilitate equitable market access and sales for farmers, while also providing customers with a trusted source for farm-fresh produce. The Sales program is designed to support farmers in accessing markets and generating revenue while building their new farm businesses. (iv)EducationGlobal Growers Network, Inc. supports an evolving cohort of farmers and community growers in achieving their goals with individualized technical assistance, hands-on workshops, and connections to resources and services. Global Growers Network, Inc.s training and technical assistance services are available to community garden growers, partner farmers at Global Growers sites and to growers of color across Georgia from cultural and ethnic groups who are historically underserved and underrepresented in agricultural services.
