Mission

We make “smart giving simple” by curating a group of nonprofits that save or improve the most lives per dollar. We aim to create a world where everyone has an opportunity to build a better life and where there’s no suffering or death due to extreme poverty.

About

The Life You Can Save is a nonprofit that is dedicated to fighting extreme poverty and that was founded by Peter Singer, often considered to be the world’s most influential living philosopher. Our aim is to inspire people to give generously and give effectively. We do this in two ways: by promoting highly cost–effective, impactful charities that save or improve the most lives per dollar and by educating people about “effective giving”.
