About this organization
Mission
To educate visitors of all ages about how and where their food is produced and why agriculture is so important to them.
About
The board of directors and a group of passionate industry leaders called upon the agricultural community to fund a $13 million project through the Create. Cultivate. Educate. campaign. We opened the doors of the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in July 2018 and began welcoming visitors to the center. Providing a hands on learning experience in the Discovery Center and a first hand experience of the miracle of life in the birthing of calves in the birthing barn. We also provide a first hand bus tour of a neighboring large dairy operation. Visitors are able to board the bus and have a in depth tour on the farm with accompanying video on the bus to help them understand what they are seeing and how the farm operates. In addition, we provide guided school group and other group tours with hands on activities in addition to the Discovery Center experience.
