About
Celebrate Edu is on a mission to empower self-advocates with disabilities to create happy and purposeful lives by providing innovative entrepreneurial education that builds on their interests and strengths. In 2018, we launched a new free online course called Discovering Entrepreneurship, taught by self-advocate entrepreneur Brent Anderson, which debunks the myths surrounding entrepreneurship. We also continued to provide services through the Spark Program and our Kindling Entrepreneur Workshop. Our work was honored as the 2018 True Inspiration Award winner in youth entrepreneurship by the Chick-fil-A Foundation. We also produced video stories of entrepreneurs with disabilities which were viewed over 20,000 times. One of our videos, the Celebrate Edu Story, was honored at the 2018 Reel Impact Film Festival, where it received the Most Moving Video Award.
