Mission

The Science Mill is a unique regional science museum dedicated to exciting and engaging students in science, technology engineering and math (STEM) and inspiring them to pursue post-secondary education and career paths in these fields. With highly interactive and technology based exhibits and programs, all students, including those who have traditionally been under-represented in STEM, low income, first-generation and minority students, will see themselves as part of a future STEM workforce. The excitement, interest, positive responses and volume of visitors have exceeded our expectations since opening February 2015. This validates our vision that students, families and educators are looking for unique opportunities to engage students in relevant, real world applications of science.
