About this organization
Mission
To relieve the suffering of animals in Afghanistan; including companion animals, working equines, stray and abandoned dogs and cats and all other animals in need of care and attention, and to provide and maintain rescue, rehabilitation and education facilities for the care and treatment of such animals with no voice but ours. Which includes a small animal clinic, dog and cat shelter and the first ever donkey sanctuary in Afghanistan.
About
Nowzad delivers animal welfare in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Our clinic in Kabul has reopened, delivering vital support to over worked horses and donkeys toiling on the streets of Kabul whilst providing care and treatment to injured animals such as cats and dogs. In Ukraine during this devastating conflict, Nowzad is delivering vital aid via our headquarters in Lviv, those in desperate need of animal supplies in the east and south of the country.
