Mission
Los Altos Chabad intends to fulfill its philosophy and purpose of sharing the profound wisdom of Kabbalah and Jewish life while building a strong sense of belonging, through experiencing Jewish traditions. The mission will be achieved through the offering of diverse programs and classes and the meaningful and authentic connections between its members.
About
Los Altos Chabad welcomes all Jews, offering a number of different programs including Kabbalah discussion groups and classes, Shabbat and holiday services for adults and children, community dinners, Jewish cooking classes for kids, Hebrew School, one-on-one Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, spiritual counseling and mentorship. The Los Altos Chabad was re-established in 2010 as an affiliate of Chabad Lubavitch of the Chabad of Greater South Bay. Los Altos Chabad’s vision is centered around providing a safe and welcoming space for all Jews who are seeking to strengthen their sense of belonging to a community that allows them free expression and encourages growth through the practice and understanding of Judaism.
