The Theresa A. Mike Scholarship Foundation (TAMSF) was founded by Dean and Theresa Mike. The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians who own and operate Spotlight 29 Casino, support our work throughout the year to make this event a success. Together they carry all the expenses associated with this event so that all donation contributions are 100% tax deductible. Every dollar raised is used to award worthy students with scholarships. We are asking for your support to raise much needed financial resources to help many local students complete their educational dream. We award scholarships to full time, enrolled tribal members of any tribe across the United States, AND/OR full-time non-native students from the Coachella Valley and the Morongo Basin. Our scholarship recipients attend community colleges, Universities, and trade schools. Our recipients also include graduate students as well. The Theresa A. Mike Scholarship Foundation has been an established 501(c)3 since August 2014 TIN# 45-4613889.
