Our mission is to enable homeless and at-risk veterans to reach and maintain their highest levels of independence. Founded by veterans for veterans, our commitment is, "We don't leave our wounded behind."

Emergency Food Pantry - 1,134 bags of food were distributed and 675 veterans were served through the Emergency Food Pantry.Home Support - 240 veterans households were set-up with furniture, appliances, and other household goods throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. WOVIN - 196 veterans women and their children were served by Women Veterans Initiative. Services included emergency shelter, food, transportation, utility assistance, baby formula, diapers, suicide prevention and counseling. During 2019 we hosted 2 events:Operation Back to School Picnic where over 95 veteran children were provided back packs and school supplies. The WOVIN Pampering Event provided 70 female veterans with dinner, peer networking, and pampering services. Transportation - Bikes for Stripes provides free bikes to veterans and their famiy members. We provide locks and helmets if funding is available. In addition to bikes, we also supply bus tickets and gas cards for vets to attend the VA and other critical appointments and meetings.
