Sophia's Place is a staffed programmatic overnight shelter serving women on the eastside. Open from 6:45pm to 7:45am every night of the year, it provides a hot dinner and breakfast, hygiene center, laundry facilities, computers, telephone, and a safe place to stay featuring private cubicles, locking closets for personal belonging, life skills classes and companion program. With 21 beds and stays of up to six months, Sophia's Place served 78 clients in 2018 with 59 women exiting the program during the year and 19 in the program at year end. The program provided a total of 7,464 bed nights in 2018.
