THESE FUNDS WERE DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS SAN JACINTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TO IMPLEMENT STUDENTS UNITED FOR CHANGE, STUDENT-LED TO CREATE A COMPASSIONATE CLIMATE, FREE OF FEAR. FRIENDS OF VALLEY WIDE USED THEIR DONATION TO HELP CHILDREN OF LOW INCOME FAMILIES WITH HARDSHIPS WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE. ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS ANOTHER BETTER CHANCE AND VIP TOTS WERE PROVIDED FUNDS TO ENHANCE THEIR PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG BOYS AND GIRLS TO CREATE AN ENGAGING ENVIRONMENT, HELP BUILD SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE BY PROVIDING THEM WITH THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS TO BUILD THEIR PLAYGROUNDS AND ESTABLISH SPECIAL EVENTS. IN ADDITION, THE VALLEY QUEENS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION RECEIVED A DONATION FOR THEIR 1ST ANNUAL SAN JACINTO VALLEY YOUTHFEST EVENT WHICH SHOWCASED YOUTH-ORIENTED BUSINESSES AND SERVICES IN THE VALLEY. VALLEY RESOURCE CENTER FOR THE RETARD, INC., USED THEIR DONATION TO DO A NECESSARY UPGRADE TO THEIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, WHICH ALLOWS THEM TO PROVIDE THEIR CLIENTS THE BEST SERVICE WHEN DEVELOPING THEIR INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM AND TRACKING PROGRESS.
