During 2018 Green Extreme Homes Community Development Corporation rehabbed and sold fourteen (14) houses/lots. In 2017 the organization provided a home rent free for life to a disabled veteran. Green Extreme started construction at the end of 2017 on a seven (7) bedroom four and half (4.5) bath transition home for female veterans in a Controlled Environment Agriculture building that is estimated to be complete in mid 2019. In addition the organization receives and uses contributed services in the make ready of many of the homes it rehabilitates. During 2018, over one-hundred fifty(150) volunteers and over twenty-two hundred (2,200) hours were received from local businesses (Home Depot, Bank of America,and Citibank) and the Douglass Neighborhood Association in the make ready of rehabilitated homes. All total there were over twenty-seven (27) volunteer events during 2018.
