About
Birds on a wire is a Christian ministry designed to equip, encourage and educate moms in their journey of motherhood. We did that in 2018 by growing our reach to moms all across the globe. In 2018 we accomplished: Sent 8,035 up from 5,000 weekly emails to moms called Tips on Motherhood. These emails provide practical encouraging advice to moms with a wide range of topics including, discipline, teenagers, dealing with the toddler years, sibling rivalry, to creating balance in your life. We had a purse auction that raised $29,997 up from $26,854 for the ministry. We released an updated and extended version of Six Truths of Motherhood, through our partnership with iDisciple. We released a booklet, Art of Motherhood. Fourth annual Soar Conference hosted 873 down from 985 moms, where moms gathered for a weekend of teaching, worship, and community with other moms. The timing of the event (close to school start affected the attendance). Through the Right Now media platform, we continued to reach over 50,000 moms worldwide that viewed our small group curriculum videos. The podcast, Wire Talk, grew 4000 downloads per month up from 2500. We released an app to engage moms further and had 1590 downloads from August to Dec 2018. We completed and received our certification from Ministry Ventures.
