IN 2018 BDR CREATED A NEW MOTORCYCLE ROUTE ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR DUAL SPORT AND ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLES. THE PROJECT WAS CALLED THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BDR (CABDR-SOUTH) AND IT INVOLVED CREATING A WATER-PROOF MAP OF THE ROUTE, PRODUCING A FEATURE-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILM, AND A COMPLETE TRAVEL RESOURCE INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE, WWW.RIDEBDR.COM. BDR CONDUCTED A FILM TOUR IN APPROXIMATELY 45 CITIES ACROSS THE USA. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED SCOUTING AND PLANNING FOR UPCOMING BDR ROUTES - THE NORTHEAST BDR AND THE WYOMING BDR. THE ORGANIZATION CARRIED OUT A FUNDRAISING EVENT AT ZION PONDEROSA IN MT. CARMEL, UT, AND A COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING DRIVE IN JULY. THE ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH A CREATIVE AD AGENCY TO REDESIGN ITS WEBSITE, AND OFFER A BETTER DIGITAL EXPERIENCE FOR VISITORS, INCLUDING NEW DIGITAL MAPS, AND UPDATED TRAVEL RESOURCES, AND CONTINUED MARKETING THE BDR BRAND IN MAGAZINES AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH THE INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOWS (IMS) TO HOST THE ADVENTURE OUT SECTION AT ALL 7 SHOWS IN THE 2018-2019 CIRCUIT, HOSTING EXHIBITOR BOOTHS, DOING PRESENTATIONS AND OFFERING A BDR VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE TO ATTENDEES. THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED A NATIONAL SWEEPSTAKES FUNDRAISER, USING A MOTORCYCLE DONATED TO THE ORGANIZATION BY KTM OF NORTH AMERICA, INC. THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED A FRAMEWORK FOR ITS ACCESS AND ADVOCACY INITIATIVE, COMMITTING TO ALLOCATE ANNUAL FUNDS TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP CARRY OUT THE BDR MISSION. BDR CONTINUED CARRYING OUT ITS SAFETY INITIATIVES, INCLUDING THE RIDERIDE CAMPAIGN THROUGH PSA'S, MARKETING COLLATERAL, AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA. BDR ALSO CREATED TO PLAN TO MARKET THE BDR ROUTES TO EUROPEAN RIDERS, INCLUDING PROMOTING 'TURN-KEY' MOTORCYCLE ITINERARIES IN DESTINATION STATES, AND MARKETING U.S TOUR OPERATORS AND RENTAL COMPANIES OFFERING SERVICES ON THE BDR'S TO EUROPEAN RIDERS.
