The purpose is to advance the interests of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine a WV institute of higher education by coordinating and conduction activities and fund raising efforts amoung WVSOM aluimni. WVSOM Alumni Association awards two scholarships per year to deserving medical students. Additionally grant opportunities are available to the WVSOM facaulty, staff and students to submit a proposal for additional funding projects that are not within the WVSOM budget.
