Mission

Our mission is to help community foundations build strong communities by advancing effective practices, sharing knowledge and galvanizing action on critical issues of our time.

About

Galvanized action on the critical issues of our time: CFLeads increased the understanding of Childrens Savings Accounts (CSAs), advanced the organizational practice, and built peer connections of 33 community foundation board members, CEOs, senior staff and community partners as part of our Asset Development Security Action Alliance. The group met three times over the course of a year, incorporating lessons from content experts and practitioners. CFLeads also hosted a Family Economic Security Symposium. The CFLeads Community Foundation Equity Network met three times, with 44 community foundation board members, CEOs, senior staff and community partners, to advance understanding of equity, implement strategies that increase equity and build the institutional capacity and external competencies to advance equity in ten communities across the country.
