About
The program presented during the 2017-2018 season, consisted of a five concert series over the year. The concerts were held in Elyria, Fairmount, Ceveland Hts, Cleveland, and Willoughby. Attendance at all concerts is estimated to be 20,000 people to hear a classical repertoire, eliminating the twin barriers of high ticket prices and unfamiliar venues, and working with neighborhood leaders to enrich the cultural offerings of their communities, in so doing, Citymusic Cleveland builds audiences for both the musical and visual arts organizations in Northeast Ohio. It is our belief that this grass roots approach connects a diverse mix of people and a spectrum 0f community groups, as they take ownership and pride in enriching their community.
