YOUTH WITH A MISSION IS DEDICATED TO SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST BY EDUCATING AND TRAINING CHRISTIAN WORKERS WHILE PROMOTING FAMILY STABILITY. WE ARE ASSISTING THE NEEDY WITH FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL RESOURCES AND PROVIDING PHYSICAL LABOR FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM EARTHQUAKES, FLOODING AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS WHILE BUILDING CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. IN 2018, 55 STUDENTS WERE TRAINED ON-SITE AND MANY PARTICIPATED IN AN OUTREACH EXCURSION AS PART OF THEIR TRAINING. THEY MINISTERED TO OVER 1,945 PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRIES OF PUERTO RICO, HAITI AND THE USA AND COMPLETED 25 SERVICE PROJECTS. ADDITIONALLY, 6 CHURCH YOUTH GROUPS (CONSISTING OF 93 PARTICIPANTS) PARTICIPATED IN OUR MISSION ADVENTURE OUTREACH PROGRAM ALONG WITH 1 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WITH 150+ CHILDREN. ALL TOGETHER, THE MISSION ADVENTURES PROGRAM COMPLETED 4 WORK PROJECTS AND 20 SERVICE PROJECTS AND MINISTERED TO OVER 500 PEOPLE. THE KAH PROGRAM IS PART OF THE KIDS AGAINST HUNGER NETWORK WHOSE GOAL IS TO FEED MILLION OF HUNGRY CHILDREN INTERNATIONALLY. IT IS A FOOD PACKING PROGRAM WHICH CONTINUES TO GROW AND PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL GROUPS TO BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION TO END HUNGER THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. IN 2018, 353 BOXES CONTAINING 76,248 MEALS WERE PACKAGED WITH THE HELP OF 399 VOLUNTEERS. THE NEST MATERNITY HOME HAD 4 MOMS, 3 BABIES AND 2 TODDLERS PROVIDING 903 NIGHTS OF SHELTER FOR THESE CLIENTS DURING 2018. ONE MOM WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE CNA TRAINING SO SHE CAN HELP SUPPORT HER FAMILY. WE PARTICIPATED IN 5 DIFFERENT COMMUNITY EVENTS TO HELP BRING AWARENESS OF OUR PROGRAM TO THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.
