ALLIANCE HOUSING RENTS ROOMS AND APARTMENTS TO SINGLE ADULTS AND FAMILIES IN MINNEAPOLIS. MANY OF THE TENANTS ARE LOW WAGE WORKERS, FORMERLY HOMELESS, AND HAVE BEEN SCREENED OUT BY OTHER OWNERS DUE TO CREDIT, HOUSING, OR CRIMINAL HISTORIES. PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO PAY THEIR RENT AND RESPECT THE PROPERTY AND THEIR NEIGHBORS. SINCE 1996, ALLIANCE HOUSING HAS DEVELOPED LARGER SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROJECTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND ON ITS OWN. SOME OF THIS HOUSING REQUIRES THAT RESIDENTS STAY SOBER.
