ABBA CORPORATION IS COMMITTED TO HELPING YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN IN UNPLANNED AND CRISIS PREGNANCY SITUATIONS. THEY OFFER PREGNANCY TESTS, EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL AND MATERIAL SUPPORT AND AN EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR BOTH MOTHERS AND FATHERS FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE PREGNANCY THROUGH THE CHILDS SECOND BIRTHDAY. CLIENTS ARE MAINLY FROM SHERBURNE COUNTY (BECKER, BIG LAKE, ELK RIVER AND ZIMMERMAN)AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (RAMSEY, ROGERS, OTSEGO, ALBERTVILLE AND MONTICELLO). IN 2019 THE ORGANIZATION SERVED 355 CLIENTS IN 12 CITIES. 355 YOUNG WOMEN/MEN RECEIVED ONE OR MORE SERVICES: COUNSELING, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, MATERIAL SUPPORT AND REFERRAL RESOURCES FROM OTHER "HELP ORGANIZATIONS". SEVERAL RECEIVED MATERNITY CLOTHING, BABY SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING, FORMULA, BABY FOOD, DIAPER BAGS, BLANKETS AND OTHER SUPPLIES. 25 CLIENTS RECEIVED A DIAPER BAG CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 110 WORTH OF SUPPLIES. 348 PARTICIPATED IN THE ORGANIZATION'S LEARNING PROGRAM AND RECEIVED MATERIAL SUCH AS DIAPERS, WIPES AND BABY CLOTHING EARNED THROUGH THE PROGRAM. IN 2019, APPROXIMATELY 66 VOLUNTEERS GAVE OVER 2,339 HOURS OF THEIR TIME. VALUED AT A RATE OF 15 PER HOUR THAT IS OVER 35,085.
