About
With the support of its board of trustees, the Northland Foundation launched Northland Assisted Living in 2006. A 20-unit residential style community for older adults, 'Northland Village - McGregor's Assisted Living Community', opened in April 2007 followed by Buhl, MN in 2009 and Hoyt Lakes, MN in 2011. These developments have provided much-needed senior housing with services to older adults in underserved areas and created quality employment opportunities. Northland does not discriminate between private pay residents and those who need financial assistance. In fiscal year 2018, Northland Assisted Living served 69 residents, resulting in 19,649 resident days, and employed 121 people.
