In 2019, MTN continued to provide the contracted services of providing space, equipment, training, and distribution of community made content. In that capacity, MTN served 2,289 people through orientations, training, and certification. MTN aired an average of 561 first-run, community-produced shows each quarter, and reached approximately 510,000 people through social media efforts. As well, MTN continued to build on the ambassador program introduced in 2018, which trains low-income seniors, college media interns, and vetted volunteers in the areas of technology, media creation, and post-production skills through creative collaboration. MTN served 15 people through this program in 2019, and more than half were able to obtain paid work in a technical field, with the rest still working toward finding employment.
