TO PROVIDE A SAFE, TRAUMA-INFORMED ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL AGES AND GENDERS WITHIN OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY TO HEAL FROM THEIR TRAUMA AND TO IMPACT CHANGE IN SOCIETY'S ATTITUDES AND INSTITUTIONS THAT WILL REDUCE AND ULTIMATELY ERADICATE THE INCIDENCE OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE.

DIRECT SERVICES STANDARD: A TOTAL OF 401 CASES WERE DOCUMENTED DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR. SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 625 PRIMARY AND SECONDARY VICTIM/SURVIVORS. THE CENTER CONTINUES TO STRIVE TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY SERVICES POSSIBLE TO SUPPORT THE SELF-DEFINED NEEDS OF VICTIMS/SURVIVORS. INCREASED EFFORTS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED FOR OUTREACH TO SOMALI AND LATINO COMMUNITIES. THE CENTER PROVIDED DIRECT SERVICES TO 74 INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING SEX TRAFFICKING.SYSTEMS CHANGE AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM STANDARD: THE CENTER CONTINUES TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THEIR WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SYSTEMS' PERSONNEL. OUR FEEDBACK SYSTEM HAS SHOWN A CONSISTENT PATTERN OF HIGH LEVELS OF SATISFACTION FROM PROFESSIONALS WORKING TOGETHER ON SEXUAL ASSAULT CASES. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING TO MULTI-DISCIPLINARY PROFESSIONALS. 30 PRESENTATIONS WERE PROVIDED TO 701 MULTI-DISCIPLINARY PROFESSIONALS. THE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO COMMITTED TO PRIMARY PREVENTION EDUCATION TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. 57 TRAININGS WERE PROVIDED TO 2229 COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND 112 PRESENTATIONS WERE PROVIDED TO 5141 STUDENTS. CLIENTS SURVEYED ALSO REPORTED A 98% SATISFACTION RATE REGARDING SERVICES RECEIVED. WE BELIEVE THIS IS DUE TO WORKING MORE AS A TEAM OF MULTI-DISCIPLINARY PROFESSIONALS IN RESPONSE TO SEXUAL ASSAULT CASES.STAFF DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM STANDARD: THE CENTER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS CONTINUES TO SUPPORT POLICIES TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF STAFF; ALTHOUGH, THIS HAS BECOME MORE LIMITED DUE TO BUDGET CONSTRAINTS. SEVERAL STAFF ARE REQUIRED BY THEIR LICENSURE TO DO CONTINUING EDUCATION. WE CONTINUE TO BRING IN SPEAKERS FOR MONTHLY TRAININGS FOR VOLUNTEERS. THE CENTER ALSO INVESTS IN RESOURCE MATERIALS FOR STAFF DEVELOPMENT. REGULAR STAFF MEETINGS ARE ALSO UTILIZED TO PROMOTE STAFF DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS.CENTER STAFF PARTICIPATE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF COMMUNITY GROUPS AND/OR PLANNING COMMITTEES WHICH INVOLVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY PROFESSIONALS. CMSAC CONTINUES TO COMMIT TO QUALITY TRAUMA INFORMED SERVICES THAT ARE VICTIM CENTERED.
