Avivo's mission is to increase well-being through recovery and career advancement while working to end homelessness. We envision our communities free of health and economic disparities. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live well and work well. Avivo serves nearly 15,000 Minnesotans each year, helping them achieve recovery, employment, housing and economic advancement. Founded in 1960, Avivo provides chemical and mental health services, housing support services, career education and employment services. Integrated chemical & mental health services- Avivo's chemical and mental health team provides community-based chemical and mental health services for more than 6,000 people each year. Many of those we serve are homeless and/or struggling with poverty. We specialize in clinical treatment, recovery maintenance, and supportive services for men and women, as well as family services for the children of participants. Just a few of our customized services include housing for individuals and families, re-entry services for individuals recently incarcerated, and peer support recovery including mentoring, education, activities and events.
