About
Head start and EHS program - provision of educational services to low-income children. Accomplishments for the 2018-2019 year: maintained full-funded enrollment, provided extended day programming for over 60% of our head start children. Provided the required days/weeks/hours of programming despite an unusually bitter winter. Sustained close partnerships with child care providers and school districts in an effort to provide services to children in very rural locations. Exceeded the non-federal share requirements for both head start and early head start. State supplemental program - additional funding for educational services to low-income children. We were able to use our state supplemental funding to provide additional, much needed EHS programming.
