Mission

FeralCare's initial mission was to reduce feline overpopulation and suffering by providing spay/neuter and vaccination services. These services for free-roaming cats living outdoors and owned cats through programs tailored to improve cats' quality of life and the human communities in which they live. FeralCare's initial activities were hosting monthly all-volunteer spay/neuter clinics and providing community informational and educational resources and programs to aid cats living outdoors and their human caretakers. In August 2012, FeralCare made the exciting transition to founding and operating Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic, a continuously operating clinic for dogs and cats. Our mission is to provide high-quality, lower-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services for both dogs and cats.
