Inspired by William Shakespeare, who through the rhetoric and poetry of the English language, gave voice to the deepest experience of being human, we are committed to producing professional theater in the community. We produce and support theatrical events that celebrate the human experience. We create a company that is accessible and fully integrated with the Tri-Valley community, and invite the participation of our Central Valley and Greater Bay Area neighbors.
About
Performanceduring the year Shakespeare's Associates produced 29 performances of Shakespeare's plays and other works of literary merit at several wineries, restaurants and other venues in the Livermore Valley area. The performances included; 4,000 attendees at Shakespeare's Othello and the complete works of William Shakespeare (abridged)(revised) at Wente Vineyards, and another 500 people attended our presentations at Swirl on the Square and Purple Orchid Resort and Spa. The productions included 40 artists and 150 volunteers.
