BEEHIVEFUND IS THE HOST OF THE TMAC GULF COAST PROGRAM. TMAC (FORMERLY THE TEXAS MANUFACTURING ASSISTANCE CENTER) IS PART OF THE MANUFACTURING EXTENSION PARTNERSHIP (MEP). MEP IS A FEDERAL PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP THAT PROVIDES SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED MANUFACTURERS TECHNOLOGY-BASED SERVICES THEY NEED TO THRIVE IN TODAY'S ECONOMY AND CREATE WELL PAYING MANUFACTURING JOBS. MEP IS MANAGED BY THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY (NIST), UNDER THE US DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, AND IMPLEMENTED THROUGH A NETWORK OF INDUSTRY-LED CENTERS LOCATED IN EVERY STATE. TMAC HAS 7 REGIONAL CENTERS IN TEXAS AND BEEHIVEFUND SERVE MANUFACTURERS IN THE HOUSTON GULF COAST AREA BY ASSISTING MANUFACTURERS ACHIEVE PROFITABLE GROWTH AND GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS. IT ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSULTING WITH MANUFACTUERS TO DEVELOP OR ENHANCE FUNDAMENTAL TURNAROUND STRATEGIES, OPERATIONAL PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS, OR CUSTOMER FOCUSED APPROACHES TO PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND MARKET EXPANSION. BEEHIVEFUND USE OF FLEXSIM PRODUCTS ALLOWS IT TO CREATE 3D SIMULATIONA SOFTWARE THAT MODELS, SIMULATES, PREDICTS, AND VISUALIZES SYSTEMS IN MANUFACTURING, MATERIAL HANDLING, HEALTH CARE, WAREHOUSING, MINING,AND LOGISTIC INDUSTRIES. FLEXSIM HELPS OPTIMIZE CURRENT AND PLANNED PROCESSES,IDENTIFY AND DECREASE WASTE, REDUCE COST, AND INCREASE REVENUE. LIKEWISE, BEEHIVEFUND HAS DEVELOPED A PROPRIETARY APPROACH TO ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENT CALLED "PRODUCT CENTRIC FLOW-THROUGH SYSTEM."
