Our vision: By 2019 visitors and community members will recognize that the Gogebic Range Health Foundation exists to help promote and increase awareness in the community of the service offerings available in the community to achieve a healthy lifestyle. The foundation works to encourage healthy lifestyles by promoting the utilization of area resources, making the community aware of local organizations working collectively to achieve healthier lifestyles, and providing grants to local organizations to achieve a healthier lifestyle for community members. In fiscal year 2019 the Gogebic Range Health Foundation has awarded $28,487 in grant funding for projects in the community that increase utilization of area resources to promote a healthy lifestyle. Gogebic Range Health Foundation was also awarded $27,137 to meet our goal of increasing collaborations with local organizations to create a healthy more active community.
