The Narrow Gate Foundation/Protect The PATH ministry has established itself as an influential leader in the fight against human trafficking. PTP provides collaborative leadership and support to numerous non-profits, NGOs, and ministries working to end the sex slavery of children in America. PTP played a major role in co-founding the United States Institute against human trafficking.PTP also offers assistance to law enforcement, government agencies, child and family service organizations, and trafficked victim care providers. PTP provides consultation to non-profits and organizations to create public awareness (prevention and education programs), resource identification, and offering legal advocacy on the national, state and local level. We also assist law enforcement in trafficked victim rescues, and provide shelter and restoration for trafficked children. In 2016 PTP worked with agencies, ministries and organizations that were involved with helping over 300 sex trafficked (primarily youth) victims. This included the assistance in the rescue of numerous survivors, over 200 interventions with direct care provided for over 200 victim survivors. The families of victims were also supported. Services provided included but not limited to; shelter, care, education and wrap-around services (medical, legal, psychological, and educational evaluations). PTP also assisted in sexual violence prevention education to over 1500 high at-risk youth along with training to thousands of case workers, foster care employees, prosecutors and probation officers. PTP helped in the purchase of property to build the first safe home for CSEC boys/CSEC youth. PTP also assisted with the continued development and implementation of a promising practices model to fight child sex slavery in the gang communities of South Central Los Angeles (minor and transitional aged youth). This included a multi-disciplinary response team for victims and a safe haven for vulnerable youth. The gang community model includes a girls academy for the prevention and intervention of trafficked victims.
