We provide shelter & veterinary care to lost, unwanted, & abandoned animals until they can be placed in kind, loving homes where they will be cared for in a safe, humane environment for the rest of their natural lives. We improve our community by educating about the importance of spaying & neutering to prevent undesired breeding & minimize the need for euthanasia, & by promoting adoption of pets from pounds, shelters, & animal rescue groups rather than supporting puppy & kitten mills, which contribute to the problem of domestic animal overpopulation. St Francis CARE's primary organizational objectives are: 1. Shelter & care of animals 2. Adoption of pets to safe, permanent homes 3. community ed re: animal care & welfare 4. offer low-cost spay/neuter services to reduce pet overpopulation
