Mission

About
With great success, this is the 6th summer for our enrichment camp named Camping Up STREAM.The program benefits elementary aged children that reside in Harmony Village Mobile Home Park. The camp was from June 22nd to July 30th and was completely volunteered ran. The kids had the opporunity to engage in science, technology, reading, engineering, art, math and reading activities. For the first time, a more structured physical component was added including structured soccer, kickball, tennis and a bike program. During the summer, the camp averaged 42 kids per day with a high of 60 for a total of 2565 contract hours compared to 1936 contract hours in the prior summer. This shows an increase of 603 contract hours over last summer. Finally, the kids logged a whopping 718 Hours of reading during the Camping UpStream program. Our kids were able to hit the ground running when they returned to school in August 2015.
