Raise community awareness of the burdens and stressors of military service and what can be done to assist with these challenges. Provide seminars and written material to community members, active duty members, veterans and their families regarding veteran transition issues and wartime terrorism issues. Over 10,000 civilians and 18,000 military personnel were benefited by this program through education. Five veteran families received direct support in finding transition employment or small business startups.
