PERINATAL HIV ENHANCED CASE MANAGEMENT, WITH CRUCIAL SUPPORT FROM THEILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, PROVIDED SERVICES TO APPROX 88WOMEN IN 2018. PACPI'S SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A HIGH LEVEL OFSUPPORT TO WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV WHO ARE NEWLY DIAGNOSED, LIVING WITH HIV AND PREGNANT OR RECENTLY DELIVERED WOMEN NAVIGATING THE COMPLEX HEALTHCARE SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT EASILY ADDRESS THE INTRICATE MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE SERVICES ALSO ADDRESS THE CO-MORBID CONDITIONS THAT COMPLICATE CHILDBEARING INCLUDING ADDICTION, MENTAL ILLNESS, HOMELESSNESS, COMMUNITY AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND OTHER SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS. CHART ABSTRACTIONS OF CASES OF PERINATAL HIV TRANSMISSION, AS WELL AS MISSED OPPORTUNITIES WHICH ARE ANALYZED AND REVIEWED CONFIDENTIALLY AND ANONYMOUSLY BY A COMMUNITY GROUP TO IDENTIFY AREAS FOR SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT. IN 2018, PACPI PROVIDED CHART ABSTRACTIONS FOR 10 FIMR-HIV CASES 96 PHER EXPOSURE REPORTS, AND 10 FIMR CONGENITAL SYPHILIS CASES. THERE WAS ONE MATERNAL INTERVIEW COMPLETED, AND THREE PEER STIPENDS PROVIDED. THE FUNDS ARE USED FOR OPERATING COSTS, INTERVIEW STIPENDS, CASE ANALYSIS FOR PRESENTATIONAND SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY MEETINGS.
