Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) designs and presents performances, education programs and community development initiatives that platform and center artists and communities of rhythm. By investing in the production of collaborative arts programs and business development services for more than 30 years, CHRP has supported percussive dance artists, companies and communities that, for decades, have existed outside of the institutional framework for dance. CHRP was founded to advocate, when possible, and fight, when necessary, for authentic diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural pluralism.
