Community services. The mission of Nami SD is accomplished through public awareness presentations, education classes, structured support groups and an annual educational conference. Information is provided through social media, a website and quarterly newsletters, as well as community meetings open to the general public. In 2018, we trained 27 new volunteer leaders for signature programs. We provided assistance to four community law enforcement trainings. We provided more than 2000 phone referrals. Our annual conference served 218 individuals. 4979 people were reached by signature programs and 3000 more by community events.
