Sponsors operation of a 50 bed multi-disciplinary hospital. The hospital was needed because of the prevalency of cervical, head and neck cancers in India and there were no hospitals in the area when this one was founded in the 1980s. The hospital sees 60+ cancer patients daily in addition to patients with other illnesses. Sixty percent of the patients are treated for free and the remaining forty percent are charged on a sliding scale based on their ability to pay.
