The People's Harm Reduction Alliance runs multiple syringe distribution sites located in Washington State: King County, South Everett, Kitsap County and in Portland, Oregon as well. In 2018, we distributed 8,660,867 syringes along with 22,908 safer smoking kits in order to reduce people's risk of transmitting HIV and Hepatitis C. All sites have an opiate overdose prevention component by providing Narcan, a life-saving medicine that reduces opiate overdoses. In 2018, 6,786 Narcan kits were provided with 4,761 confirmed reversals.
