Action Against Hunger: This program delivered approximately 48,766 pounds of food to local food banks, social service, and welfare organizations for the needy during 2018. Action Against Hunger is the state's largest single-day food drive. In 2018, volunteers collected food and monetary donations in 118 locations throughout Northern New Jersey. The food collected serves approximately 65 North Jersey pantries in four counties: Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Essex. These pantries serve the community year-round. This program also supported Table to Table, Inc., one of the largest hunger-related charities serving Northern NJ and Bergen Family Center Adult Day Breakfast and Snack Program.
