Eliza Jennings, a not-for-profit organization providing excellent care and services to older adults on Clevelands Westside for more than 130 years, is a nationally recognized expert committed to helping people make the most of the aging experience. As one of the organizations at the forefront of a major culture change movement called person-centered care, Eliza Jennings offers a full spectrum of choices and services for aging adults, designed to meet their needs and preferences as they age. Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network is the not-for-profit parent organization that serves older adults and oversees a range of senior living communities that cover the complete continuum of today's residential long-term care needs, including a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and Alzheimer's disease and dementia care. Eliza Jennings also provides community-based programs, including skilled home health care, a nurse practitioner house call program, and adult day services. Eliza Jennings has grown to become one of the largest not-for-profit senior living organizations in the Greater Cleveland area, offering 486 residential and skilled units, and employing 600 employees. We are proud to be an eleven-time recipient of the NorthCoast 99 award, in recognition of being one of the 99 best places to work in Northeast Ohio.As a nationally recognized innovator and expert in aging services, Eliza Jennings offers a full range of memory support programming and services throughout its residential communities and adult day program.The network's full spectrum of services includes:Residential Communities:*Eliza Jennings Home, the organizations flagship community, which operates a 126-bed nursing home that provides a complete range of nursing services from respite and rehabilitative care to intermediate and skilled care. The community is both Medicare and Medicaid certified as well as licensed by the State of Ohio and certified by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).*The Renaissance, offering a continuum of care from independent living services and assisted living to skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. This continuum includes Olmsted Assisted Living which operates 23 assisted living apartments, Olmsted Residence Corporation which operates 175 independent living residences (villas and apartments), and Olmsted Health & Services operating a 96-bed skilled nursing center.*Devon Oaks, a 54-apartment, assisted living center providing a full range of residential services and programs for older adults needing assistance in activities of daily living. The Memory Support Unit consists of 12 apartments offering specialized services for those suffering from early and mid-stage Alzheimer's disease and related dementia.Community-based services:*Acacia Place Adult Day Center, offered as an alternative to long-term, residential care, helps physically and cognitively challenged older adults to remain at home, living as independently as possible, by providing appropriate programming and socialization on a daily basis. Acacia Place Adult Day Center offers programming Monday Saturday. *Eliza Jennings at Home is a specialized service designed to assist older adults who live independently in their own homes. Eliza Jennings at Home provides a full range of services including skilled nursing and in-home therapy, and a nurse practitioner house call program. Eliza Jennings at Home offers wellness and home health services to residents of West Side HUD affordable housing communities (The Westerly and The Knickerbocker).
