About this organization
Mission
Adopt America Network (AAN) believes every child deserves to grow up in a family. We connect children who wait in foster care with permanent families, providing support before, during and after the family is united. AAN is a private non-profit adoption agency that helps place children waiting in U.S. foster care to be adopted (an average of almost 4 years) into loving, permanent homes. Since 1983, Adopt America has found homes for over 4,650 children across the country. Using a unique model, our national network of partnering agencies cuts across geographic and bureaucratic boundaries, increasing opportunities for children and families to be permanently connected. Adopt America does not charge fees to any family adopting from foster care.
