We are a Global Impact Organization moving individuals, families, and policies forward to improve and save lives. For people living with schizophrenia and psychosis, every day without treatment can mean the difference between life and death. We are committed to changing the treatment paradigm, accelerating scientific knowledge, and promoting policies that improve and save lives. We stand for hope and recovery by promoting peer-based support programs, accelerating scientific research, identifying effective treatments, and promoting productive public policies. SARDAA is a National Institutes of Mental Health NIMH Outreach, and Research Alliance Partner and provides education, influence, and support for research specific to schizophrenia and psychosis. Also, an active participant of the Mental Health Liaison Group MHLG to advocate for community awareness and treatment for schizophrenia and psychotic illnesses. SARDAA advocates for appropriate measures for the support of individuals diagnosed and their loved ones in pursuit of elimination of discrimination, increased access to treatment, and elimination of incarceration.
