Mission

Our mission is to transform the lives of underserved teenagers - to build their technical & storytelling skills; work skills, 21st-century skills - learning, literacy, and life; and build their confidence and realization of their own future potential - through actively involving them in the collaborative, creative and technical process of filmmaking. Filmmaking is our vehicle for mentorship, leadership, and youth/workforce development among diverse teens. Youth collaborate with peers and professional mentors on the sets of films, TV shows, and documentaries while rotating through every film position and gaining technical and workplace skills. Productions include the AT&T Hello Sunshine Filmmaker Lab with Reese Witherspoon and “The Stream” starring Rainn Wilson and Mario Lopez.
