Mission

A Rocha is a world-wide family of Christian conservation organizations. Our mission is to inspire and equip Christians to know and love their local habitats through practical, community-focused conservation. We work with churches, schools, neighborhood groups, and individuals across the US to provide community-based conservation, environmental education, and scientific research. Each community project varies according to local needs and desires—from growing food for the poor to protecting watersheds to restoring local habitats. Through our efforts, we want to foster a deeper understanding and love of places where we live, work, and learn. Our hope is that care for the world around us will become a key and integrated part of our everyday lives.
