RESEARCH, EVALUATION AND COLLECTIVE VOICE: THE FRCA FAMILY PATHWAYS MODEL HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES AND DELIVERABLES CONGRUENT WITH THE NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION RESEARCH NETWORK'S (NIRN) IMPLEMENTATION SCIENCE FRAMEWORK. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO COMPLETE THE VALIDATION AND DOCUMENTATION PHASE OF OUR COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY SUPPORT MODEL. ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO DATE INCLUDE:DEVELOPMENT OF A LOGIC MODEL OUTLINING THE COLORADO FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER APPROACH AND THEORY OF CHANGE; A LITERATURE REVIEW ON BEST-PRACTICES IN FAMILY SUPPORT; A REVISED AND (RELIABLE) STRENGTHENED FAMILY SUPPORT ASSESSMENT, SUBJECTED TO A TEST OF INTER-RATER RELIABILITY WITH RESULTS DISSEMINATED IN A PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL; A COMMON INTAKE FORM TO HELP SCREEN FOR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT NEED AND INTEREST, INCLUDING READINESS FOR CHANGE IN SPECIFIC DOMAIN AREAS; AND A LEVELS-OF-SERVICE DOCUMENT (FAMILY PATHWAYS). FRCA HAS FOCUSED ON EXPANDING TRAINING MEMBER STAFF UTILIZING A REGIONAL TRAINING TEAM STRUCTURE AND CREATED TWO FIDELITY IMPLEMENTATION MATRICES, ONE FOR FRCA AS THE INTERMEDIARY ORGANIZATION AND ONE FOR MEMBER'S PRACTICE DURING THE PAST YEAR. FRCA ALSO INCREASED ITS OWN CAPACITY BY ADDING STAFF DEDICATED TO PROVIDING TRAINING AND FIDELITY SUPPORT TO MEMBERS. IN ORDER TO PRESERVE THE RELIABILITY OF THE ASSESSMENT TOOL AND THE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT WORK THE DEDICATED STAFF WORKS TO ENSURE ALL MEMBER CENTERS ARE WELL EQUIPPED AND STREAMLINED IN MEETING THE STANDARDS THAT DEFINE A FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER. EVALUATION IS AT THE CORE OF FRCA'S WORK WITH OUR MEMBER CENTERS AND THEIR CONSTITUENT FAMILIES, AND IS USED TO IMPROVE OUR COMPREHENSIVE FRC MODEL. WE ARE COMMITTED TO USING THE INFORMATION WE GATHER TO INCREASE THE EFFICACY AND IMPACT OF OUR CENTERS AND THE FAMILIES THEY SERVE. OUR 2018-2019 EVALUATION REPORT CONFIRMS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE STRATEGIES, TOOLS AND PROCESSES COMPLETED TO DATE. THIS REPORT, WHICH INCLUDES A MULTIPLE DOMAIN ANALYSIS, SHOWS "STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT" GAINS IN INCOME, CASH SAVINGS, DEBT MANAGEMENT, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, FOOD SECURITY, CHILD CARE, CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, HEALTH COVERAGE, PHYSICAL HEALTH, MENTAL HEALTH AND TRANSPORTATION DOMAINS. "FAMILIES ARE INCREASING ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES AFTER RECEIVING SERVICES. IN ADDITION, FAMILIES INCREASED FACTORS THAT PROTECT AGAINST CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT. AFTER RECEIVING SERVICES, PARENTS DEMONSTRATED MORE POSITIVE PARENTING BEHAVIORS, STRENGTHENED PROBLEM SOLVING AND RESILIENCY, INCREASED INFORMATIONAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORTS, INCREASED NURTURING WITH THEIR CHILDREN, AND INCREASED ACCESS TO MATERIAL SUPPORTS IN TIMES OF NEED." THESE EVALUATION RESULTS STRENGTHEN FRCA'S RESOLVE AROUND INCREASING THE VALIDITY OF OUR MODEL.WE UTILIZE AN ORGANIZATIONAL SURVEY FOR ALL MEMBERS TO IDENTIFY KEY AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT. AT THE CENTER LEVEL, EVALUATION OF OUTCOMES AND PROGRESS IS MEASURED BY PARTICIPANT ACTIVITY AND FEEDBACK OBTAINED BY PARTICIPANT SURVEYS AND INTERVIEWS.
