Mission

To provide a safe, spiritual and structured residence for homeless women with histories of addiction, incarceration and abuse while they re-establish themselves into the local community.

About

Mercy Manor transitional housing and supportive services program has served women in the Miami Valley for over 33 years. The program serves women in-house and graduates or program participants who leave the program before completion and are given after care services. The assistance given to the women range from resume writing, completing job applications on line and job coaching as well as providing transportation to appointments and purchasing prescriptions, work clothing, shoes and encouragement to remain in the 12 step recovery programs. When the women remain in the program for 4 months or more, they have a much stronger chance of retaining their employment and moving into their own apartments or in with friends or family. On average, 65% of the women stay clean and sober.
