ADENA GREENFIELD MEDICAL CENTER IS A 25-BED INPATIENT FACILITY IN RURAL GREENFIELD, OH. THE HOSPITAL HAS AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, INPATIENT REHABILITATION AND MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNITS, DIAGNOSTIC AND SURGICAL TREATMENT SERVICES, AS WELL AS SPECIALTY PHYSICIANS. EMERGENCY, INPATIENT MEDICAL AND SURGICAL, AND REHABILITATION SERVICES ARE THE LARGEST PROGRAMS, BY EXPENSES, FOR THE FACILITY. EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK AT THE ADENA GREENFIELD MEDICAL CENTER. IT IS EQUIPPED TO HANDLE MOST EMERGENCIES AND THE AFFILIATION WITH ADENA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER MEANS THAT ACCESS TO SPECIALISTS AND REGIONAL-LEVEL CARE IS READILY AVAILABLE TO THE RURAL COMMUNITY. IN 2018, THERE WERE 8,965 VISITS PAID TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IN GREENFIELD. THE REHAB TEAM FOCUSES ON RETURNING PATIENTS TO A NORMAL ROUTINE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. EACH MEMBER HAS ADVANCED TRAINING SPECIFIC TO THE TYPE OF TREATMENT BEING PROVIDED, INCLUDING PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, SPEECH, AND RECREATIONAL THERAPY. THE THERAPISTS USE THE LATEST TECHNIQUES AND EQUIPMENT TO HELP EACH PATIENT.
