Mission

Our mission is to increase knowledge of mathematics by maintaining and providing freely to the general public the OEIS, an online encyclopedia of integer sequences. We hope to act as a catalog of mathematics, an index of topics, and an introduction to various subjects tied together by language-independent sequences of numbers.

About

The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences® (OEIS®) is the on-line version of a database of sequences of numbers which will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary. The primary function of the OEIS Foundation is providing access to our database of hundreds of thousands of integer sequences to the general public.
