The Middle East: Relief and and child sponsorships. Indigenous Ministries provides relief aid to assist refugees suffering aftereffects of the ISIS Iraq war and Syrian civil war. In Iraq, the objective is to assist both new refugees and refugees who are attempting to re-settle into their original towns and refugees emigrating to other countries. This includes provision of water, food staple packets, clothing, kerosene, counseling and encouragement. The Indigenous Ministries Child Sponsorship Program helps children and their families in Egypt and Iraq. The program provides ongoing vital assistance for families with food staple packets, clothing, minimal medical assistance and school supplies. Families receive regular visits and interaction by IM staff. The program grew in 2018 from impacting 125 to 235 refugee children and their families in Iraq. In Egypt, 54 children and their families who benefited from the program in 2018.
