THE SPECIFIC PROGRAMS THAT WERE SUPPORTED IN 2019 WERE AS FOLLOWS:THE POLYPHONY CONSERVATORY IN NAZARETH PROVIDES FIRST-CLASS MUSIC INSTRUCTION TO OVER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY (130) OF THE REGION'S MOST GIFTED AND MOTIVATED YOUTH; (II) "ALHAN PROGRAM", WHICH PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION TO NEARLY NINE THOUSAND (9000) ARAB AND JEWISH STUDENTS IN UNDERSERVED SCHOOLS, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON BRINGING ARAB AND JEWISH STUDENTS TOGETHER THROUGH THE SHARED APPRECIATION OF CLASSICAL MUSIC AND INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTION; (III) THE SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE SEMINARS, WHICH BRING ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY (180) ADVANCED, YOUNG ARAB AND JEWISH MUSICIANS TOGETHER TWICE EACH YEAR TO FORM A YOUTH ORCHESTRA AND LEARN ABOUT THE ROLE OF MUSIC AND ARTS IN ADVANCING CIVIL SOCIETY; AND (IV) THE GALILEE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, A PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA COMPOSED OF AN EQUAL NUMBER OF ISRAEL'S ADVANCED CONSERVATORY STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS
